Austin ISD Officials Seek Possibly Kidnapped Student

AUSTIN, TX — Austin school district officials are seeking help from the public in finding a ten-year-old student who was possibly abducted by a family member, officials said Tuesday.

Angelia Jordan, a student at Oak Hill Elementary School, went missing on Tuesday. On the Austin ISD website, district officials said they suspect the girl was abducted by a relative.

Angelia stands at an even five feet in height and weighs 60 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants and white shoes. The suspect vehicle is a 2002 gray Ford van with Texas license plate BSD 3195.

Anyone with information on the girl, the vehicle or the case is urged to contact AISD police at (512) 414-1703.

No further information was made available. School district officials provided a photo of the missing girl for the purposes of media dissemination.
